Serving a large number of people in a short space of time is challenging.
Figgjo is now launching products that are both exciting and functional,
where the goal is to give the guests the best dining experience.
We have developed three new ranges of tableware that combine striking
design with functionality. Figgjo Flak, Figgjo Kvadrat and Figgjo Morf.
Along with our existing products, they provide an inspiring solution to
meet every need – from a classic, elegant banquet to a busy, efficient
conference.

FIGGJO FLAK

A distinctive kink in the angled rim of the three smaller plates and a straight,
diagonal rim on the largest distinguish Figgjo Flak from its round relatives
- without compromising on functionality. lAll four plates have a comfortable grip, generous eating surface and low weight. Apart from the largest, they stack regardless     of direction – in a stack you have never seen before! With its simple difference, Figgjo Flak is ideal to combine, especially with Figgjo Europa.

FIGGJO KVADRAT
A square plate with rounded corners, Figgjo Kvadrat provides a flexible
eating surface which is suitable for both formal banquets and creative
table settings.

The three plates have a smooth transition between the eating area and
the edge, and the rounded corners make them more robust than many
other square plates. Figgjo Kvadrat are lightweight, easy to grip and stack
well. They combine particularly well with Figgjo Verde, Figgjo Konveks and
Figgjo Konkav.

FIGGJO MORF
The soft form and circular eating surface lend these three plates a smart
yet playful appearance.

With Figgjo Morf, you can serve appetisers, desserts and snacks on a
slightly different plate, while still serving the main course on one of our
round plates. All the Figgjo Morf plates stack well and are easy to hold and
carry. Figgjo Morf goes particularly well with round plates such as Figgjo
Grad, Figgjo Europa and Figgjo Klassik.

FIGGJO FRONT

Figgjo Trio 9049HH

Figgjo Trio (9049HH) is developed in cooperation with Gunnar Hvarnes, winner of the Chef of the Year 2009 contest and 3^rd place in the Bocuse d’Or 2011.  The Figgjo Trio plate is 34x34 cm and is characterized by three oval shapes that provide a smooth impression. The innermost oval shape defines the surface for the main course while the next one may function as an extension of the eating surface when serving larger dishes. The plate is ideal for appetizers, main courses, and desserts at any meal time. Figgjo Trio enters into the Figgjo Front collection.

 FIGGJO COMBINATION PLATES

Figgjo reception plate 3170HH

Reception plate (3170HH) is rounded triangle shaped and radiates a soft expression. The plate has a cup-shaped insert which may be used for a glass, cup or a bowl. It is informal yet elegant and therefore suitable for all occasions involving “stand-up dining”. It is pleasant to grasp and the symmetric shape allows comfortably equal access for both right and left handed. The triangle mingling plate measures 21.5 x 20 cm and is stackable.

Reception plate (2170HH) with a square shape and firm expression. The plate is divided into a large main surface with a smaller separated face area, and boasts a cup-shaped insert which can face a preferred direction. The outer measurement of the plate is 25 x 15 cm and tailored to fit four on one gastronorm serving tray. It is stackable and tidy for efficient storing.

FIGGJO MUGS

Figgjo stacking mugs 1542HH 1541HH

Stacking mugs in two sizes, 26 cl. (1542HH) and 22 cl. (1541HH) have an elegant unique expression combined with efficient stacking possibilities. The spacious handle provides a solid grip and various ways of holding it. With their large surfaces, these stacking mugs are ideal for decoration.

FIGGJO GRAD

Figgjo Grad 2713HH

Plate (2713HH)is a part of Figgjo Grad. A large main course plate, 32 cm. for serving a variety of dishes. The plate may also be used when serving multiple smaller dishes gathered on one plate. Similar to the other Grad series products, this plate also shows a nice balance between wide rims and functional eating surfaces. The rim does not have a marked curve and has a noticeable transition to the eating surface and simulate the classic plates from earlier days.

NEW STANDARD DECORATION

Figgjo Platinum

Figgjo Platinum is the new decoration on Figgjo Front Dining. The decoration has a thin elegant rim with platinum. The decoration combines well with white products. Available on 15 pieces of Front Dining

Now in its eighth year, 100% Norway continues its mission to present the best of Norwegian design to an international audience. The 2011 exhibition promises to be the most impressive and inspiring collection yet, presenting a diverse mix of furniture, ceramics, lighting and tableware never previously shown in the UK.

100% Norway is proud to present six Norwegian manufacturers to the 2011
exhibition including: Spinnaker, Tonning, Nora of Norway, Wik & Walsøe,
Figgjo and Northern Lighting.

The 2011 collection will be brought together in a new stand designed by leading Norwegian architect studio, Fantastic Norway. Reflecting 100% Norway’s forward thinking approach, the architects have designed the stand to generate curiosity and engagement using modern technology and materials, seeking to create a contemporary stand that reflects Norway’s adaptability and creativity as a country.

Figgjo Tipp

The products consits of 6 plates designed by Olav Joa. The products were launched in February 2010. The prize was presented Figgjo during the Desing Days in Olso 16th of March 2011.

Receiving the Design  Award  is a great recognition of our design and product development. Such confirmation from other designers and professionals means a lot.

Figgjo Spinn 9042HH is a 33 cm large plate with a wavy rim and an elevation in the middle of the plate. The plate challenges the chef  in how to present the food around the centre of the plate. The plate is ideal in many settings and can be used for serving soup, rice and pasta dishes or for instance fruit. Due to the particular shape of the plate, it is not recommended for food that needs to be cut with a knife. The plates are stackable.

Figgjo Ekorn consists of two small bowls, the smallest 9046HH holding 10 cl and the somewhat larger 9047HH holding 26 cl. The products have a natural shape and may remind of nuts, standing on three legs it may look as they move across the table. Figgjo Ekorn has a sharp and solid edge that underlines the shape. The bowls may also stand at a lean. They are ideal for starters, appetizers or smaller courses but are also suitable for serving butter, spices, oil or tapas.

Figgjo Bowls

Figgjo Sylinder are three cylindrical-shaped bowls holding 38cl, 16cl and 5cl; 4021HH, 4022HH and 4023HH. The bowls have a solid edge that underlines the shape which makes them suitable in combination with for instance Figgjo Ekorn and Figgjo Boks. They are ideal for serving various tapas dishes, deserts such as creme brulee or to be used as accessory products.  Figgjo Sylinder stacks well yet they do not have a stacking rim.

Figgjo Boks consists of 5 square bowls and a plate (please view the plate 4040HH under Figgjo Combination Plates). The products 4035HH, 4036HH, 4037HH, 4038HH and 4039HH do all share a sharp and square-edged design. The products hold different volumes and may be applied in different areas of use ranging from single serving to buffet style.  The solid edge makes them suitable in combination with the new products Figgjo Sylinder and Figgjo Ekorn. Please note that the product 4039HH can not be delivered until March 15th 2011.

Figgjo Accessories

Jugs in three new sizes; 1593HH, 1594HH and 1595HH. The jugs hold 30 cl, 15 cl and 8 cl, and are ideal for serving cream, milk, dressings, soya sauce etc. They share the same design as the other existing 15-jugs.

Figgjo Combination Plates

Figgjo Boks 4040HH is a plate with uncountable opportunities. The plate has a large and flat eating surface and the food may be placed anywhere on the plate. It is ideal to be used as a base for placing other products and will function well as a serving tray. The plate is eye-catching in combination with the other five Figgjo Boks products in a buffet setting. The plate is stackable.

Figgjo Gastronorm

Plastic lid in two new sizes; 2116LH and 2117LH. The lids are made to fit 2116HH and 2117HH, including Gastronorm 1/1 and 2/4. The lids have the same height as the other existing lids and provide enough space for the food. The lid is ideal in order to protect the food on the tray until it is being served. The trays with lids are stackable, which is an advantage for catering. The lids may be placed upside down underneath the trays in order to create various height differences in a buffet setting.

Figgjo Combination Cups

Cup 1260GH is based upon the already existing 1260HH and is a classical cappuccino cup that holds 22cl. The cup without a handle may also be used as a small bowl.
